Andrew Ayre, the British Deputy High Commissioner, Chandigarh delivered a lecture on ‘Future of UK-India Relations Post Brexit’  at the Physics Auditorium, Punjab University.Students from

different departments had an interesting interactive session with him after the lecture which was extremely well received. In the context of Brexit, he emphasized on the fact that Britain has left the European Union but not Europe. He addressed different queries on the existing situation in England, post Brexit.

The event was presided over by Prof. Arun K. Grover, Vice Chancellor, Punjab University who warmly welcomed the members from the British High Commission. Prof. Navdeep Goyal, Chairperson, Physics Department and other eminent professors from the University were present. It was hosted and organized by Prof. Deepti Gupta, Dean International Students, Punjab University.
