The Car Caravan from different places of likeminded people assembled at Noor Mahal Chowk, Karnal. No one imagined that such a huge caravan will move together with the beat of dhol and reach the venue Noor Mahal, Karnal the hospitality partner of newly created travel trade organisation.
With Yaar Beli stickers pasted on all the cars and members with attractive caps slowly gained momentum as they reached near the venue. The passers-by thought that it was a marriage party heading towards Noor Mahal.
It was a great show right from the beginning. The members of Yaar Beli were received with full gusto and warmth by the staff of Noor Mahal who paid individual attention to each and every one.
The evening programme was even more interesting on two accounts.
Firstly, the arrangements for the members were fabulous. The ambience was not only enchanting on pool side but the whole scenario presented a different look which could please the members of Yaar Beli. Secondly, the Yaar Beli pillars were pretty sure that their maiden event is going to create a history. True to the feelings of the first ever event which was not only exciting but also was full of surprises.
After the lightening of the auspicious lamp by the dignitaries namely Col. Manbeer Chaudhary the owner of the prime property Noor Mahal, Kr. Paratap Chaudhary, Sanjay Pahwa the Editor in Chief of The Voice of Chandigarh , Mr. Gurjeet Singh Ahuja, Chairman ETAA North India Chapter and Mr. Anil Anand, Chairman TAAI Chandigarh Chapter. The dignitaries expressed their views about Yaar Beli in an interesting manner.
Mr. Sanjay Pahwa the Editor in Chief of The Voice of Chandigarh introduced the concept of Yaar Beli before the august gathering. Col. Manbeer Chaudhary had all appreciations about the members of Yaar Beli. Mr. Gurjeet S. Ahuja highlighted the role of the strong pillars of Yaar Beli namely Ashish Sehgal, Sangita Manocha, Manmeet Arora and Pankaj Sharma who played the key role in creating the group Yaar Beli which has now become an organisation.
Mr. Anil Anand was of the view that such like events hold a special value when likeminded people come together and create a unique travel fraternity group. H.C. Gera Special Correspondent of The Voice of Chandigarh entertained the members with interesting couplets.
A musical pillow game was organised for the active participation of the members. The programme concluded with the draw of lots amongst the members with some interesting awards and gifts.
In nutshell it was a memorable evening where the Yaars and Belies enjoyed to the maximum.
It was decided that next Yaar Beli meet will be held at Jim Corbett National Park in the near future.
