ADVOCATE GENERAL OF PUNJAB INAUGURATES STUDENT’S LEGAL LITERACY CLUB AT KBDAV-7

It was a pride moment for KBDAV-7 to have Advocate General of Punjab, Atul Nanda as a Chief Guest for the inauguration of Student’s Legal Literacy Club. Special Guest of the occasion was Vikas Chatrath, Advocate, Punjab and Haryana High Court. Atul Nanda formally inaugurated the club by lightening the lamp which was followed by an Interaction Session. In his enriching session, the Advocate General emphasized on the fact that the students are the future leaders and need to have a commitment to the society. The students should be conditioned to compete without expecting any gain. With this mind-set only they will have least acceptance of corruption. He also laid stress on the fact that THE STUDENTS ARE AMBASSADORS TO EQUALITY IN SOCIETY. The school is looking forward to more such Interactive Sessions in the future.
The executive members of Legal Literacy Club briefed the Composition, Objectives and Activities undertaken by the Club in the session 2018-19. The members of Legal Literacy Club took a pledge to spread information about Legal Aid Programs and to make Justice Accessible to all.
The principal of the school Pooja Prakash thanked the Dignitaries saying that it is a matter of honour and privilege to have them grace the event. She thanked Atul Nanda, Advocate General of Punjab for his inspiring address and believing that the students will work towards making this world a better place to live in.
