Chandigarh Congress Lok Sabha candidate Pawan Kumar Bansal announced that Cooperative Housing Societies for Advocates and other professionals will be built, once he gets voted to power.
The announcement was made when the former Union Minister went around the premises of Punjab & Haryana High Court, which he called as a place close to his heart owing to his serving the High Court Bar Association as its Secretary once. “Even today in my bio-data, I proudly mention that I once held the position of High Court Bar Association’s Secretary. Visiting this place is akin to going on a pilgrimage for me” said Bansal, adding, “If someone asks me is there anything I miss today, I say yes, it’s my days in the High Court.”
The four-time MP also took a look at the make-shift chambers for young lawyers and later in his address announced that once voted to power, he will get new chambers built both here and the district court.
