One arrested under Arms Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Amit R/o # 793/1, Rajiv Colony, Sector-17, Panchkula, Haryana (age 23 years) and recovered one sharp knife from his possession near Hallomajra Light Point, Chandigarh on 03-02-2022. A case FIR No. 13, U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

          A case FIR No. 15, U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh on the complaint Ravinder Singh Dhull R/o Flat No. 505, GH-17, Sector-20, Panchkula Haryana who alleged that Satinder Kumar R/o # 2116, Phase-7, Mohali (PB) (Permanent address: Village Subhri, Tehsil Barada, District Ambala, HR) cheated cash Rs. 15 lakh regarding removing royalty amount charged by PWD BR Department, Haryana to their company i.e. SKR Constructions. Investigation of the case is in progress.   

A case FIR No. 16, U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh on the complaint of Mahinder Singh Narwal R/o # 1202/1 Haripur, Sector-4, Panchkula, Haryana who alleged that Satinder Kumar R/o # 2116, Phase-7, Mohali (PB) (Permanent address: Village Subhri, Tehsil Barada, District Ambala, HR) cheated Rs 25,50,000/- from a complaint about getting a selection of his nephews as a clerk in Haryana. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 21, U/S 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the complaint of Ashok Kumar Malik R/o # 4232, Sector-46D, Chandigarh who alleged that Satender Kumar R/o Village Surbhi Rajo Kheri, District Ambala, HR cheated Rs 10 lakh from complaint for providing study visa to America to complainant’s son. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

         Parveen Kumar R/o # 2630, Sector-19, Chandigarh reported that an unknown person stole away two AC compressors and copper wire from the roof of the complainant’s house on the night intervening 18/19-01-2022. A case FIR No. 15, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 18, U/S 279, 427 IPC & 185 MV Act has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh against the driver of Endeavour Car No. UP-16BJ-3400 namely Deepinder Singh R/o Street No. 6/2, Maha Singh Nagar, Ludhiana, Punjab rashly & negligently hit an electric pole near Khalsa College, Light Point, Sector-26, Chandigarh on 03-02-2022. Investigation of the case is in progress.
