Doorsteps Covid vaccination started to all eligible beneficiaries in Chandigarh

THE VOICE OF CHANDIGARH NEWS:

An initiative to provide Covid Vaccination at doorstep to all Eligible beneficiaries in Chandigarh.

UT Adviser Dharm Pal inaugurated the Vaccination Sewa Centre at Sukhna Lake set-up by Health Dept UT in association with Karan Gilhotra Foundation and supported by United Sikhs, ASR Foundation .The foundation has provided waterproof shelter canopies with seating arrangement for Covid Vaccination beneficiaries.

Chandigarh Health Department in collaboration with Rotary Club Association has undertaken Door to Door Covid Vaccination of Eligible beneficiaries at Kishangarh on 17th and 18th July 2021.

Alongwith team of Health workers including Anganwadi workers , volunteers from Rotary also assisted in conducting door to door Campaign.

Mobile Vaccination teams were deployed inside two CTU buses to provide easy accessibility of Vaccination to the beneficiaries .

Approx. 3500 houses of Kishangarh were covered along with Jhuggis at settled slums by 15 Teams.

Further, approximately 714 number of eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated during these two days drive.

A lucky draw was also organised in association with Rotary club where two beneficiaries were felicitated with Prizes.

On 19th and 20th similar door to door activity will be undertaken in Dhanas using CTU vaccination buses ,ambulances and volunteers of ASR and Karan gilhotra foundation with lucky draw by foundation for beneficiaries at end of activity.

Special vaccination camps were also organised along with area councillor at Gwala colony and Kachi colony Maloya were 179 and 130 people Vaccinated
