GPS goes Paperless at Telangana Tourism Conclave 2018 in Hyderabad

Global Panorama Showcase (GPS) is always known for innovations and this time it has done a marvellous job by being totally green during the three days Telangana Tourism Conclave 2018 in Hyderabad. The conclave was held from 28th June -30th June 2018 in collaboration of the Federation of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce & Industry.
Inaugural session began with enchanting dance performances namely Perini Dance followed by Oggu Dance.
During the welcome address Mr. Gowra Srinivas, President FTAPCCI shared that Telangana is blessed topographically & historically. The hills, forests and the architecture stand apart from other states. Thus there is tremendous tourism potential in the state.
The introductory remarks were given by Mr. Hari Kishan Valmiki, Chairman, organizing committee, Tourism Conclave, FTAPCCI.
Mr. Harmandeep Singh Anand, Managing Director, GPS talked about the concept of the conclave and knowledge seminar. He laid stress that now the time has come that we should be more concerned about the protection of the environment. He categorically stated that GPS is now going to be a totally green by cutting the cost of use of paper during the events. He claimed a savings of $100,000 by cutting down on the use of paper.
Mr. B. Venkatesham, IAS, Secretary Tourism, Government of Telangana gave the Guest of Honour address. He stated that though Telangana is the youngest state but certainly a fast-growing one. We need to promote lesser known tourism spots like Warangal, Karimnagar and Adilabad.
Mr. Bonthu Rammohan H.W. Mayor Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation also spoke on the occasion.
Mr. Azmeera Chandulal, Hon’ble Minister for ST Development, Tourism & Culture, Government of Telangana was the Chief Guest. During the inaugural address, Mr. Ameera Chandulal said that now State of Telangana is to be projected on the tourism map of India in a pragmatic manner and the state tourism department needs to create massive awareness about the tourism potential of the state.
On this occasion, a report on Telangana Tourism–Positively Transforming (Great Journeys-Fascinating Places) was also released.
The technical sessions were indeed knowledge sharing by prominent speakers like Mr. G. Kishan Rao, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Yadari Temple Development Authority, Mr. R.M. Dobriyal, IFS Chief Conservator of Forests and HOFF Government of Telangana, Mr. Dilaju, Film Producer, Venkateswara Creations Hyderabad. The other speakers who shared their views were Ms. Anitha Niranjan, Managing Director CIMGLOBAL, Bangaluru and Ms. Vishala Reddy, Founder & Director M/s. Ident city, Hyderabad.
