The old-world charm of ‘The City of The East’ is still intact when we come to Lucknow the capital city of Uttar Pradesh. It is also known for one of the finest cities of the country in terms of mannerism and culture. During my previous visits to the city and even now I have noticed that there is an amalgamation of complete sophistication, etiquette, courtesy and a fine taste of standard of living. The cultural traits of the city like Lucknow are still the landmarks of Tehzeeb. One of the ancient cultural traits was Dastan Goi.
By holding maiden show@GPS Lucknow Dastan Goi is revived but in a different way in the modern day setting of Digital India.
The heading of this feature is definitely worthy of attention. Dastan Goi is the art of story-telling. It was quite famous during the Nawabs era. The art of story-telling is the name for extemporary authorship. The Voice of Chandigarh has appropriately incorporated this word keeping the authorship of this newer art in today’s context. He is no one else except Harmandeep Singh Anand the Managing Director of Global Panorama Showcase who is the author of the art of telling a successful story. He has made the stakeholders of tour & travel industry of Uttar Pradesh realized that this art still persists in GPS events especially @ GPS Lucknow which had a mix of knowledge sharing sessions, entertainment, an exposure to newer techniques and the advancement in the technology front. The business partners, travel agents and tour operators from Lucknow, Varanasi, Kanpur, Gorakhpur and other adjoining areas from Uttar Pradesh took part in this show with full gusto & keen interest in large numbers.
A houseful show on the first day and the second day with B2B networking had a huge response. The Voice of Chandigarh had an interaction with prominent persons and several other stakeholders who expressed satisfaction and had all praise for maiden event @GPS Lucknow.
