Manohar Lal, has congratulated the sports persons from Haryana who won medals in different events at the Commonwealth Games

The Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal, has congratulated the sports persons from Haryana who won medals in different events at the Commonwealth Games, today.

While Bajrang Punia (men’s 57kg) won gold, Pooja Dhanda (women’s 57kg) and Mausam Khatri (men’s 97kg) picked up silver. Fifteen-year-old Anish Bhanwala made history by becoming India’s youngest gold medalist after shooting 30 points which is a Commonwealth Games record in the 25m Rapid Fire final. Boxers, Manish Kaushik, Vikas Krishan and Amit reached the finals.

In a statement issued here today, the Chief Minister said, “I congratulate all the players who won laurels and did Haryana and the country proud. I wish all our participants in the CWG best of performance and best of luck”.
