Congress candidate for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections from Chandigarh Pawan Kumar Bansal addressed a large gathering of residents of the Cooperative house societies from Sectors 49, 50 and 51 at Advocates Society in Sector -49.
While advocating the need to have a “participatory democracy” in which once elected to power, he will hold open house meetings at community centres across city every 15 days or so, the former Union Minister said he is aware of the problem of “fixing of new rates” for transfer/conveyance deeds of flats that the society residents are going through since the BJP rule in Chandigarh.
While slamming BJP for misleading people, he said, “The rates for transfer of flats that Kirron Kher claims to have reduced substantially do not exist even on this day,” Bansal said.
