A seminar on ‘Emerging trends in repair, reclamation and life extension of helicopters, aeroplanes and their aggregates’ was organized by Indian Air Force at CII Conference Hall today under the aegis of HQ Maintenance Command in association with Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI).
Dr. RK Tyagi, President of AeSI, AVM Padgaonkar, Dy Senior Maintenance Staff Officer, HQ MC, Delegates from Indian Air Force, Defence PSUs, HAL, National Aeromatical Limited (NAL), (RCMA) Regional Centre of Military worthiness, (ARCI) International Advances Research Centre of Powder Metallurgy and new materials, Hyderabad, Ministry of Science & Technology, Industrial partners-GE and WIPRO3D and Academia were present.
Dr. RK Tyagi, President of AeSI in his inaugural address brought out that the Indian Air Force is technologically becoming stronger and progressively endorsing the philosophy of ‘Make in India’ by collaborating with aviation agencies. It was a day of technology expression and way forward in strengthening military aviation for helicopter and aero engine operations
