Training Session Held on Child Rights for Principal/ Heads of Government Schools of Chandigarh at SCERT

Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CCPCR) in collaboration with the Education Department, Chandigarh Administration (State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Sector-32, Chandigarh) organised a Training Session on Child Rights for Principal/ Heads of Government Schools of Chandigarh at SCERT, Sector-32, Chandigarh.
In the training session, 75 Principal/ Heads of Government Schools actively participated. Four Session was held. One session was taken by Mahavir Singh, Member Secretary, State Legal Services Authority on POCSO Act, Second Session was taken by Neil Roberts, Coordinator, District Legal Services Authority on JJ Act, Third session was taken by Chanchal Singh, RTE Consultant, CCPCR on RTE Act and Fourth Session was taken by Pooja Punchhi, Member, CCPCR on Stress Management.
On this occasion, Harjinder Kaur, Chairperson, CCPCR were also addressed to the participants. on the occasion, a poster on United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) was also released. all the participants requested to the Chairperson of the Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CCPCR) to arrange such type of training session to make more effective and update the provision of the various acts related to the children.
