A case FIR No. 26, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against Manohar R/o # 3193, Sector 38, Chandigarh, (Age-47 Years) while he was obstructing public way by installed Rehri near  Shastri  Market, Sector 22, Chandigarh on 07.02.2022. Later they were released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

          A case FIR No. 15, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-Mani Majra, Chandigarh on the complaint of Satpal R/o # 726, Sector-7 Panchkula (HR) who alleged that unknown car which sped away after hit to the complainant’s daughter Activa No HR-38A-3884 at Kalagram light point on 06-02-2022. She got injured and was admitted to PGI, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.   

A case FIR No. 16, U/S 279, 337, 427 IPC has been registered in PS-Mani Majra, Chandigarh against driver namely Ankit R/o Distt. Jind, Haryana of Baleno car No HR-32M-7035, which hit to Bus shelter near Kalagram, Chandigarh light point on 06-02-2022. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Burglary

 Sanju R/o # 119, Labour Colony No.4, Ph-1 Ind. Area, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away 4 mobile phones, 2 key pad and cash from Kabari Market, Makhan Majra, Chandigarh on 30-01-2022. A case FIR No. 16, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS- Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for possessing illicit liquor

Crime branch of Chandigarh Police arrested Sarwan Singh R/o # 189, Ph-2 Ind. Area Chandigarh, and recovered 300 cartons of naina premium whisky from Bolero No. CH 01 TA 3281 near plot No.275 Ph-2 Ind. Area Chandigarh on 06-01-2022. A case FIR No. 18, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
